I am an engineer and early-stage investor.
I am a co-founder of Teleport Technologies, which built TeleportDAO, a secure, trustless, decentralized light client bridge between Bitcoin and EVM chains.
As a founding general partner at Hex Capital, a crypto-dedicated fund established in 2016 in Vancouver, I have invested in companies like Dapper Labs, Kraken, DFX, Maker, 0x Protocol, Nervos Protocol, and Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Before that, I was briefly Head of Product at Shippo, a multi-carrier shipping API and dashboard. In 2013, I co-founded Foro, a marketplace for students to buy and sell goods. My company was subsequently acquired in 2015. After graduating from university, I worked as a software engineer at Recon Instruments, which was acquired by Intel, and then briefly at Trulioo.
As an angel investor, I have backed companies such as Apollo.ai, Carta, Ritual, Eraser, Afterparty, Clay, Serve Robotics (IPO), Code Zero, Attendease (Acquired), Spocket, Stay22, thisOpenSpace (Acquired), and Grow (Acquired).
